PANDO
The Tombstone PANDO is a piece of a serie of funeral monument made of steel for the company Funeral concept.
Context
In our society, tombstones are most of the time perceived like sad and lifeless. They are grey and all look alike whereas everyone inside is different.
Brief
Break this grim image in order to valorise and give life to the new tombstones. Give an approach more personal about people that they shelter.
Origins of the name : « Pando » refers to the oldest vegetal organism still alive situated in US. This tombstone is inspired by traditions which date back over thousands of years which consist in planting a tree in memory of a deceased person, the white young tree is a representation of his purity and serenity.
